Role: Project Director (Full-time)Location: Hybrid in Sydney We're on the hunt for a Project Director. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Sydney, with a commitment of three days in-office each week. What You'll DoPortfolio & Business Unit Management: Develop and manage a designated portfolio into a profitable business unit, providing strategic input on delivery processes.Program & Financial Oversight: Lead financial planning, direct, and coordinate activities to ensure all project objectives are completed within defined timelines and budgets.Process & Compliance: Ensure all agency, client, vendor, and legal processes and requirements are consistently met.Content Production Management: Oversee the management and quality control of diverse content types (ATL, digital, social, video, image, websites, TVC, print, retail), including asset delivery and trafficking.Strategic Project Ownership: Take hands-on ownership of complex strategic projects, managing senior stakeholders and serving as the primary client interface.Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Account, Strategy, Media, and Creative leads to meet client expectations, creative vision, and agency needs from briefing through final delivery.Risk & Problem Solving: Proactively identify risks and solutions, acting as the primary problem solver to ensure projects remain agile and strategic.Scope Development: Lead the development of project scope, including goals, deliverables, timelines, budgets, processes, and resource requirements.Resource & Progress Monitoring: Oversee portfolio resources and day-to-day activities, monitor and report on project progress, and manage change requests.Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide motivation and mentorship to the Project Management team, serve as the first point of escalation for issues, and potentially manage direct reports.Operational Support: Support Head of Delivery in monitoring PMs and optimizing skill levels to project needs, and continuously identify opportunities for solutions. What You Can BringExtensive Experience: 10 years of relevant project management experience, preferably managing a portfolio of brands within an agency setting.Leadership & Management: Strong leadership, management, and mentorship skills.Communication & Presentation: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively.Strategic Project Ownership: Hands-on experience and ownership of complex strategic projects, including senior stakeholder management.Problem-Solving & Agility: Ability to recognize and solve potential problems, escalate issues, continually evaluate project effectiveness, and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.Quality & Detail: Strong communication skills with impressive attention to detail, and a calm, collected approach to problem-solving.Self-Awareness & People Management: Strong self-awareness and effective people-management skills.Platform Understanding: Understanding of relevant social media platforms and their requirements.
