This is a full time permanent position working primarily out of our Brisbane CBD office as well as visiting our Hospital locations. This is a hybrid role with flexibility to also work from home. Your part in our UnitingCare team Reporting to the General Manager Patient Revenue and Digital Health, and working with our broader leadership team, this role is a crucial support function for the coordination of the Revenue and Digital Health team. This role offers incredible variety and opportunity to play a key role in process improvement. In this role you will: Ensure the efficient management of contracts and compliance, supporting both the implementation and management of funding contracts Partner with key stakeholders that influence either directly or indirectly patient outcomes and hospital revenue Interact closely with the senior management Revenue and Digital Health team, supporting a range of initiatives across the revenue cycle continuum and in digital health Provide support to projects being led by other senior leaders within the Revenue and Digital Health team, in particular maintenance of systems and senior administrative support What makes a difference for us? Tertiary education in a related field (e.g. Business, Accounting, Health Information, Health Administration) Demonstrated knowledge of the broader health care sector, or experience working in a private hospital environment Ability to manage or support multiple projects with multiple stakeholders Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a highly motivated team environment Strong professional manner, focused commercial acumen and operational emphasis to deliver on time Strong analytics experience to derive solutions from data; verbal and written communication skills (including public speaking), and report writing Desirable Experience working with Patient Administration and Billing and Claiming systems in the Australian Private Hospital context Demonstrated knowledge of casemix and health fund payment arrangements in the Australian Private Health sector would be considered advantageous What makes a difference for you?
