Environment Supervisor Location- Lismore, NSW. Contract: Permanent Part Time (34.2 hours per week). About the Role As a part of our valued team, you'll be responsible for supervising teams undertaking ecological restoration activities in a variety of ecosystems. We are seeking a motivated and experienced bush regeneration supervisor. The ideal candidate will have: strong leadership skills, attention to detail, the ability to schedule work, high level of communication and interpersonal skills. What your day to day will look like Supervise, motivate, guide, support and direct the activities, work practices and techniques of an environment field team undertaking environmental restoration and light construction activities, ensuring quality standards are maintained. Undertake site and risk assessments for all sites on which work is to take place. In conjunction with Project Officer / Regional Coordinators, schedule and prioritise work activities and ensure adequate resources and equipment are available for the efficient and effective delivery of services. Record, prepare and submit work records and reports as required for funding bodies, Envite Managers and others. Assist with the preparation of quotations, budgets, development of work places and assessment of resources, equipment and materials required for NRM projects. Liaise and develop linkages with land managers, project partners, care groups, community groups, the public and others to promote Envite activities and services. Essential Criteria Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management or equivalent. Minimum 3 years bush regeneration experience. Drivers Licence. Experience leading teams whilst undertaking ecological restoration. White Card (Construction). Physically fit, motivated and capable of working in challenging outdoor environments. Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment. Understanding and ability to follow WHS policies and procedures. Desirable Criteria ACDC Licence. Senior First Aid.
