We’re on a mission to simplify currency risk management and bring treasury-grade expertise to businesses of all sizes.As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a well respected and connected Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us identify, engage with, and convert new customers, driving revenue growth and supporting Fluenccy’s ambitious targets. Role Overview: The Business Development Manager will play a key role in generating qualified leads, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving deals to completion. You’ll be the first point of contact for businesses looking to transform how they manage FX risk and will play a vital part in hitting company revenue goals. Key Responsibilities: Prospect and Generate Leads:Identify and reach out to SME’s & Corporates that could benefit from Fluenccy’s FX risk management solutions. Use a combination of outbound calls, emails, and digital marketing strategies, utilising your own network and our own extensive lead list. Educate Prospects:Clearly articulate the value of Fluenccy’s AI-powered platform, demonstrating how it simplifies FX risk management and helps businesses achieve better financial outcomes.Close Deals and Achieve Sales Targets:Work collaboratively with the dealing team to nurture leads through the sales pipeline, successfully closing deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.Collaborate with Dealing Teams:Work closely with the Dealers to ensure smooth handovers of new clients and develop hedging strategies for closing high-value opportunities.Maintain CRM:Accurately record and track all prospect interactions in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot) to ensure a seamless sales process and provide insights into outreach performance.Stay Informed:Keep up to date with the latest developments in FX markets, risk management trends, and Fluenccy’s product enhancements to effectively communicate with prospects. What we are looking for: Experience in FX business development preferred but not essential, sales, preferably in the SaaS or FinTech space. Experience in FX or financial services is a strong advantage.Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.Strong sales acumen and a proven ability to close deals.Deep understanding of prospecting tools, CRM platforms, and outbound sales strategies.Analytical mindset to understand prospect pain points and effectively position Fluenccy’s solutions.Mindset:Results-driven, self-motivated, and eager to exceed targets.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.Curiosity and passion for learning about FX software solutions.
