Responsibilities Inspire and lead a high performing team Provide strategic leadership of ASIC\'s Finance and unclaimed money functions Drive long-term financial strategy and oversee financial operations including unclaimed money Lead statutory financial reporting and financial framework functions, including preparing consolidated year-end financial statements and work papers Prepare ASIC\'s annual budget You will promote a high-performance culture, drive financial compliance, and partner with senior leaders to achieve business outcomes. You will work collaboratively with the business planning and performance reporting team to improve ASIC\'s reporting framework and deliver insights that support ASIC\'s work. About You To be successful in this challenging and rewarding role, you will have the demonstrated ability to lead, support and influence large, high performing teams in a dynamic and complex environment. It is anticipated you will have considerable experience in the direct management of large teams and be able to foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will have a proven track record operating at a senior executive level, having managed a complex finance function within the public sector. Your ability to operate strategically across the business will be complemented by your commitment to problem solving, understanding challenges, communicating and supporting your team at an operational level.
