Role Purpose As an Associate Director in the Technology Risk and Cyber team, you will lead and grow a portfolio of IT risk and assurance engagements. You’ll play a key role in developing client relationships, mentoring team members, and contributing to business development activities. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic outcomes and drive innovation in how we deliver technology risk services. This role also includes supporting presales and sales activities, such as contributing to proposals, developing pricing models, and engaging with clients to shape tailored solutions. This role is based in our Perth office, offering the opportunity to work with local and national clients across a variety of industries. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the delivery of IT risk and assurance services, including IT internal audits, service organisation controls reporting, IT risk assessments, and IT project assurance reviews. Provide technical leadership across a portfolio of engagements, ensuring quality and consistency in delivery. Mentor and support career development for team members, identifying growth opportunities and contributing to training and knowledge resources. Build and maintain strong client relationships, introducing contacts to other areas of the firm where relevant. Actively contribute to presales and sales activities, including proposal development, pricing models, and client presentations. Stay current with developments in technology, risk management, and assurance practices to ensure KPMG’s approach remains innovative and market-leading. Experience Demonstrated experience in IT risk, assurance, or cyber-related engagements, with a strong track record of client management and project delivery. Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple engagements simultaneously. Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality client-ready deliverables and present to senior stakeholders. Experience contributing to business development and presales activities. Familiarity with global frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO/IEC 27001.
