About the role We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Medical Receptionist/Admin to join our supportive clinical admin team. This is a full-time role and you will play a part in providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth running of our specialist clinic/day surgery. What you'll be doing Greet patients and other customers, schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently Prompt and professional resolution of all telephone inquiries. Monitor clinical activity, including arrivals, delays, billings, waiting room etc. Perform admin tasks- data input, process mail, emails and faxes, scanning, filing etc. Billings/receipting of patient accounts, advise patients of credit/billing policies, follow up paid/unpaid claims. Assist with the admission and discharge of surgery patients, make post-op appointments. What we're looking for Previous experience in a medical reception or administration role, within clinical/day surgery/healthcare setting Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a positive patient experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using medical practice software and standard office applications Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively Friendly, professional and reliable Experience working in dermatology or related field highly regarded About us We are a not-for-profit Centre of Excellence in Dermatology that delivers highly specialised clinical treatment, education, and research for skin diseases, skin cancers and melanoma.
