What you'll be doing Manage a portfolio of complex tax engagements, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory servicesReview and oversee the preparation of income tax returns, activity statements, and other tax-related documentsProvide expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of tax matters, including corporate and individual taxation, international tax, and tax risk managementMentor and supervise a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client serviceCollaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients' evolving needsStay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the firm's tax services remain competitive and compliant What we're looking forA bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a recognised accounting or tax qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, or equivalent)At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in a tax advisory or compliance role, preferably within a professional services firmDemonstrated expertise in a broad range of tax disciplines, including corporate tax, international tax, and tax complianceExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex tax concepts into easily understandable advice for clientsStrong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teamsA commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics What we offer At Butler Settineri, we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment that enables our employees to thrive.
