Purpose of PositionThe Change Manager is accountable for designing, leading, and embedding change management strategies and processes in our transformation office to ensure successful adoption of new initiatives, systems, and ways of working across MIPS. This role focuses on stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and business readiness to support the delivery of strategic and operational priorities.The Change Manager works collaboratively with leaders, teams, and stakeholders to build change capability, reduce resistance, and embed sustainable improvements that enhance member outcomes and organisational performance. Key AccountabilitiesChange Management LeadershipDesign, implement, and maintain the MIPS change management methodology to ensure effective and consistent adoption of new programs, systems, and processes.Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and readiness evaluations to guide change interventions.Develop and deliver tailored communication, engagement, and training strategies to support employees through change.Identify and manage change-related risks and issues to ensure smooth transitions.Measure and report on change adoption, benefits realisation, and continuous improvement opportunities.Stakeholder Engagement & CommunicationBuild and maintain strong relationships with leaders and teams to ensure clear understanding of change impacts and requirements.Partner with business leaders to coach and support them as change sponsors and champions.Facilitate workshops, forums, and feedback channels to encourage participation and address concerns.Create accessible and engaging communication materials to promote understanding and buy-in.Business Readiness & Capability BuildingEnsure organisational readiness for change by aligning people, processes, and systems to support new ways of working.Develop tools, guides, and resources to enhance change capability across the organisation.Support leaders in embedding changes into their teams’ day-to-day operations.Promote a culture of adaptability, continuous improvement, and innovation.Planning & GovernanceAlign change plans with organisational priorities, timelines, and regulatory requirements.Monitor progress against change milestones and report to senior leadership on adoption and benefits. Workforce Engagement & Cultural AlignmentFoster collaboration and trust across teams during periods of change. Skills & ExperienceProven experience in leading organisational change in complex environments.Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent).Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and facilitation skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to analyse impacts, manage resistance, and drive adoption of change.Experience in building change capability within teams and leaders.
