About the Position This role provides essential administrative support to the City’s Contracts and Procurement team, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements across all operational areas. Key responsibilities include maintaining contract and procurement records, assisting with the preparation and coordination of quotation and tender documentation, and providing advice to internal stakeholders on purchasing processes and procedures. This is a permanent, part-time position (0.6 FTE), offering the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team in a collaborative and inclusive work environment. About You To succeed in this role, you will bring well-developed administrative skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to learn and apply procurement processes and compliance requirements on the job. You’ll be a flexible and proactive team player with excellent organisational skills, capable of managing competing priorities and supporting internal stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. Your ability to communicate effectively, maintain strong relationships, and uphold the City’s values will be key to your success in this role. Experience using procurement and contract management systems such as Open Windows, Finance One, ECM, or similar platforms will be highly regarded.
