This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working collaboratively to achieve project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities Prepare project documentation including reports, schedules, and communications Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment Track progress against milestones and escalate issues as needed Support governance processes including risk and issue management Manage budget tracking and procurement support activities About You Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in project coordination or administration Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2) is desirable Experience with systems such as MyWorkZone, OneProcure, and CS Connect is desirable Essential requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications and/ or significant experience in projects involving the design, development and procurement of IT Infrastructure, systems or services For more information read the full Role Description: Project Officer Who we are The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) works to protect the state’s environment and heritage.
