We have anopportunity for a Senior Knowledge Lawyer to join our growing LegalExcellence & Risk team on either a full-time or part-time basis(minimum of four days per week). Reporting tothe Head of Knowledge, you will work as part of the Knowledge teamto provide professional support to the firm’s nationalBanking & Financial Services practice. The role willfocus on the Banking & Financial Services team, with support tobe given as needed to other national practice groups. You will beresponsible for: assisting with thedesign and delivery of Practice training sessions, for exampleinternal sessions or training on financial services reforms,compliance and risk management; facilitating developmentand execution of technical solutions and document processimprovements; draftingand maintaining precedents; being achampion for style guide compliance; workingcross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suitesfor automation platforms; conducting file auditsin conjunction with the Risk team; writingkey matter summaries for business development; maintaining awareness oflegislative and case law changes and providing regular updatesto the Banking & Finance practice group; preparing and deliveringlegal educational training; and delivering style,precedents and writing training to the firm. Aboutyou You willideally have the following skills and experience: at leastfour years of post-admission experience; currentor recent banking or financial services drafting experience,for example, loan and security agreements, financial productregulation, licensing and compliance, or funds managementadvice; excellent documentdrafting skills and high attention to detail; provenability to project manage; stronginterpersonal and communication skills; abilityto prioritise and follow up tasks autonomously; abilityto work effectively cross-functionally; keeninterest in knowledge sharing and precedent development andstyle compliance; and eagerness to learn andtest new solutions.
