The Opportunity Fixed term contract until Dec 2025, with potential for extension We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Data Modeller consultant to join our team in a client-facing capacity. You’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining data models that support business needs, particularly within Finance functions in the Telecommunications sector. This role offers the chance to work closely with stakeholders, both locally and offshore, and contribute to impactful data solutions. What You’ll Do Model Design: Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal and client stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective models. Engineering Alignment: Partner with data engineering teams to ensure model compatibility with pipelines and architecture. Offshore Coordination: Liaise with offshore team members to ensure smooth delivery and communication. Client Engagement: Gather requirements, present solutions, and provide updates directly to client stakeholders. Context Adaptation: Rapidly absorb client-specific context and adapt to dynamic environments. What You’ll Bring 4 years of experience in data modelling Strong grasp of methodologies such as 3NF and dimensional modelling Experience with data products and their lifecycle Proficiency in tools like SQLDBM or similar Exposure to systems such as Oracle BRM (billing) and Isoton (prepaid mobile management) Familiarity with data engineering concepts Why Join Skillfield?
