The Opportunity Are you ready to lead and shape the risk and compliance landscape of a dynamic organisation? We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Risk and Compliance Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our risk management and compliance frameworks. In this key leadership role, you’ll work across the business to identify and mitigate risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and embed a strong governance culture. You’ll be instrumental in driving initiatives that protect our organisation and support sustainable growth. Reporting to the Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance, your duties will include but not be limited to: Maintaining, analysing and regularly reviewing the risk register and developing responsive and proactive solutions for the mitigation of emerging risk. With the GRC Manager, develop and implement appropriate risk reporting for senior executive and the Board Risk and Compliance Committee to support effective and informed decision making. Identifying and detecting potential threats to brand, reputation, financial sustainability and operational efficiency to fully develop a shared understanding for the Institute’s risk exposure. Assist managers across the Institute understand and meet the various compliance measures. Conveniently based in our modern offices within Perth Children’s Hospital, this position will be offered on an ongoing, full-time basis. About You We are seeking a confident and experienced professional with a deep understanding of risk and compliance principles. You will hold a tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Law, Business Administration or a related field. You’re passionate about building robust frameworks and fostering a culture of accountability and integrity, and bring: Proven experience in risk and compliance management, preferably in a complex or regulated environment. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies. The demonstrated ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and manage competing priorities. Proficiency in risk management systems, compliance tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
