Our operations focus on dismantling vehicles across a wide range of makes and models, salvaging valuable components, and ensuring materials are reused whenever possible. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, part specifications, and dismantling instructions for automotive components. Cut, bend, and shape metal sections, plates, and panels salvaged from vehicles for reuse or repurposing. Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to assemble or repair fabricated parts from dismantled vehicles. Measure, align, and check fabricated and salvaged components for accuracy and safety. Operate and maintain fabrication and dismantling tools such as grinders, saws, presses, rollers, and welding machines. Inspect completed fabrication and welding work to ensure strength, quality, and compliance with company and industry standards. Follow safe work practices, use protective equipment, and contribute to a safe and clean workshop environment. Work with dismantling teams to prepare salvaged metal components for fabrication and recycling. Assist in organising stock, preparing materials, and managing reusable and scrap metal. Collaborate with team members to meet workshop deadlines and support efficient vehicle dismantling and recycling operations. What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 year of experience as a Metal Fabricator (or in a related fabrication/welding role). Proficiency in fabrication processes including cutting, bending, forming, and assembly. Skilled in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, and stick) with the ability to produce accurate and strong welds. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Physically fit and able to safely perform fabrication and welding tasks. Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently and as part of a team. Good knowledge of safe work practices in a workshop environment.
