As a result they have received numerous development accolades and set new price records across SEQ Reporting to the Cost Manager the Estimator role is truly a unique opportunity. You will take control of projects in the early development and concept phase taking projects through a number of cost-plan stages, working collaboratively with the development managers and design managers, identifying risks and opportunities in design as well as working with the contract administrators in the construction phase and procuring trades and negotiating the best commercial outcome for the business. The successful Estimator will be responsible for :- Contributing to the development stage with cost advice and value engineering Presenting cost estimates to Directors and management team Preparing BOQ’s and negotiating with Subcontractors through the tender submission phase Reviewing tender documents to ensure minimum RFI’s and provide a clear scope of work Identify and present commercial positions on risks and opportunities Liaise with construction teams in project delivery in line with intended procurement methodology This is a rare opportunity to work across BOTH development and construction in an estimator and cost planner role ,having impact on projects both at a concept stage and commercially in construction delivery Suitable candidates will be Tertiary qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and have at least 5 years experience in the multi-residential sector.
