Internal expression of interest Temporary (until 27 Feb 2026) Full-time (35 hours per week) Office location – Parramatta; with occasional work in Sydney CBD Clerk Grade 11/12 – salary ranges from $149,739 - $173,174 plus super The Manager of ECCS’s Office of the Deputy Secretary is a new, operationally focused management role which will help ensure the Office of the Deputy Secretary continues to deliver its group-wide strategic and executive coordination responsibilities. About The Role This includes overseeing Deputy Secretary approvals, coordinating group wide requests, and managing group-wide engagement, logistics and operational processes and projects. The Manager will play an important agent in the continued development, facilitation, and delivery of strategic coordination projects in partnership with ECCS's Executive Director Units, the Manager Strategic Projects and stakeholders across DCCEEW. ECCS has recently realigned our structure including establishing a new Strategic Coordination Unit. This is to ensure we can effectively deliver on government priorities, achieve greater mobility and flexibility, and enhance accountability and efficiency across all divisions. The position will report to the Executive Manager, Strategic Coordination and manage a small team within the evolving Strategic Coordination Unit. About You This role is ideal for someone with excellent leadership and organisational skills. You will be confident to manage a fast-paced executive office and have exceptional communication skills to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You can confidently analyse and solve problems and work collaboratively with others.
