Office attendance required as needed. About this role We’re looking for a driven and collaborative leader to join our People & Culture team as Manager, Executive Talent & Mobility. This leadership role sits within the Talent function and is responsible for guiding a team of specialists to deliver inclusive, innovative, and high-impact executive talent strategies. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we attract and move executive talent across the Department, ensuring our practices align with DCS values and recruitment policies. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, influence executive-level decisions, and lead with a customer-first mindset. Your success will be driven by your ability to build trusted relationships, lead a high-performing team, and deliver strategic talent outcomes in a dynamic, values-led environment. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will lead and contribute to a range of activities that support Executive Talent Acquisition and Mobility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead the Executive Talent team to deliver high-quality services aligned with the Department’s strategic objectives Design and implement executive recruitment and mobility strategies, including proactive sourcing, talent pipeline development and internal talent management, including case management for executives impacted by change. Foster a collaborative team culture and support capability development Lead and support Talent and cross functional projects as required, working collaboratively with subject matter experts and key stakeholders About You You bring deep experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, ideally within NSW Government, with strong knowledge of the GSE Act and related policies You’re a strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills You are passionate about continuous improvement and team development, along with proven leadership skills in complex organisations.
