Panel Beater Location: VIC Our Client are seeking experienced Panel Beaters to join our dynamic team. The role involves carrying out a wide range of vehicle body repairs, from minor dents to major structural work, ensuring high-quality standards of finish and safety. Key Responsibilities Remove damaged panels, parts, upholstery, and accessories to gain access for repair. Repair dents by hammering, straightening, filing, grinding, and sanding surfaces. Replace badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels. Cut and join replacement sections using welding equipment. Fit repaired or replacement panels and refit vehicle hardware such as locks, trims, and accessories. Fill depressions with plastic filler to achieve smooth finishes. Operate mechanical and hydraulic equipment to straighten vehicle frames and parts. (Optional) Assist in constructing/restoring custom-designed, vintage, and specialty vehicles. (Optional) Carry out spray-painting of repaired vehicles. Requirements Trade qualification in Automotive Body Repair/Panel Beating (or equivalent experience). Minimum 1 year relevant experience (3 years for candidates requiring skills assessments for visa sponsorship). Proficiency in using repair tools, welding, and hydraulic equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
