Job Title Project Mine Geologist Open Pit Job Roster Lifestyle friendly 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth to Leonora or DIDO Job Summary Prepare routine and complex reports and perform geological investigations Job Statement We are now seeking a Project Mine Geologist – Open Pit to join the team at our Hub Open Pit mine. Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist, you will actively contribute to the effective gathering, coordination and communication of geological data for the mine planning at our Operations. This is a permanent opportunity, working 8 days on, 6 days off roster at our Leonora Operation. The Opportunity: Supervising grade control and near-mine resource development drilling, and mining geology functions, in the absence of the senior mine geologist Assist with the operation and implementation of systems Assist with end of month and resource model updates as required Assisting mine geologists with daily mine geology requirements as required, including pit mapping, ore block design, mark outs and ore spotting. We’re excited to hear from you if you have: A degree qualification in Geology related discipline 3-5 years’ experience as a Mine Geologist Experience in working with different types and styles of deposits Experience developing and mentoring mine geologists and graduate geologists Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Power Point)
