Delta is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Sydney. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate capture, settlement, and reporting of electricity and financial market transactions while shaping the future of our back-office capabilities through innovation, automation, and data-driven insights. What you’ll do: Validate and reconcile settlement data to ensure accuracy and integrity. Monitor systems and dashboards, investigating anomalies and coordinating resolutions. Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical models to support trading and financial performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver system enhancements and reporting improvements. Partner with IT to manage market data feeds, business systems, and reporting tools. Drive process improvements, automation, and scalable data solutions. Support regulatory, audit, and financial reporting requirements. Provide backup support for deal capture and settlement operations. What we’re looking for: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field. With at least 3-years of experience. Strong skills in SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel (Python, R, or SAS a plus). Experience in back office, settlements, or data analysis (energy, utilities, or financial services preferred). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) advantageous.
