Hamilton location Salary $110-130K Super Bonus, pro-rata pending experience Ideally part-time, but open to full-time WFH options Our client: A leading food supplier with an international presence that specialises in identifying and sourcing international food products that are set to become the next big thing, all while ensuring market-competitive prices. They predict emerging food trends and import the products that help QSRs, distributors and entertainment venues stay ahead of the curve! The role: This is a newly created role due to growth and as the Sales Manager, you will develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive national sales targets and fuel market expansion. You'll guide and leverage a high-performing team of sales consultants, ensuring their success. By conducting thorough market analysis, you'll identify exciting new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. You'll build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customers, distributors and partners, ensuring their business thrives. Key responsibilities: • Develop a territory by territory strategy with clear targets for brokers and accounts • Set quarterly KPIs for revenue, volume, new customer wins and promotional lift • Identify growth opportunities in under-penetrated regions or channels • Create B2B promotional calendars with brokers and distributors • Enhance product knowledge and support the sales team and customers with in-depth product knowledge • Build relationships with key customers to ensure an understanding of their product offerings • Maintain and grow relationships with major retail or foodservice clients • Negotiate pricing, promotions, new product listings and menu placements • Generate consultant sales and commission reports • Track SKU performance by channel and region • Collaborate with supply chain to ensure accurate forecasts of demand • Prospect for new distributor partnerships (local and international) • Pitch their range at select tradeshows, expos or foodservice events • Help set channel-appropriate pricing structures to protect margins and stay competitive • Coordinate with logistics for order flow, customs and 3PL tracking To be successful within this role, you will have: • 7 years within sales in food service/FMCG, essential • Proven experience in managing national food service or supermarket accounts • Ability to analyse market trends and develop effective sales strategies • Understanding of export dynamics and distributor networks highly desirable • Strong broker/rep network across Australia and New Zealand • Excellent communicator and negotiator This role is ideally part-time, 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, however we will consider flexibility i.e. 3 days or someone full-time. In exchange, you will be able to work from home 2 days a week, bonus up to 25% of base salary, on-site parking, delicious snacks, staff discounts and be with a company that is on a growth journey as they expand their range presence!
