The Role We're seeking a driven and tech-curious Business Development Specialist to identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships, and grow revenue within compliance-driven industries. In this role, you'll combine proactive prospecting with strategic account management to help organisations improve safety, risk, and compliance outcomes using modern digital platforms. You'll partner with product and consulting teams to deliver tailored solutions that solve real-world problems in industries like mining, construction, energy, and government. What You'll Be Doing New Business Development Proactively identify and engage new prospects in target markets Initiate client conversations and build relationships through a trusted advisor approach Deliver tailored platform demonstrations and value propositions Work with marketing on campaigns and attend trade shows to build your network Maintain an active opportunity pipeline using HubSpot CRM Account Management & Client Growth Manage existing key accounts and identify upsell opportunities Support client renewals and long-term strategic engagement Collaborate with product and consulting teams to drive adoption and satisfaction Help shape ongoing service delivery through customer feedback Sales Process & Commercial Management Lead commercial discussions, prepare proposals and business cases Negotiate, draft and review contracts confidently Achieve sales targets while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships Track pipeline health and provide regular forecasts and insights What You Bring 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software Proven track record in long-cycle, multi-stakeholder selling Experience in resources , construction , or compliance-driven sectors Strong commercial acumen and confident in business case development Experience with EHS systems (e.g. Cority, Enablon, Velocity) is a bonus Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A consultative approach with a natural ability to build trust Why Join Us?
