This is a high-profile, critical infrastructure initiative aimed at modernising and enhancing WA’s rail network, improving communication systems, and ensuring safer, more reliable public transport. As part of this role, you’ll play a key part in the upgrade of the Public Transport Authority’s radio systems. About the role: Based in Nowergup Day shift and afternoon shifts available Competitive pay Key Responsibilities: Install, wire, terminate and panel build Cat 5 cables for communications equipment Work within a team environment to deliver upgrades to essential public transport systems Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety requirements What We’re Looking For: Trade qualification – preferably Cert III in Electronics & Communications (other relevant trade certificates considered) Previous hands-on experience with communications system installation Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a landmark rail infrastructure project that will strengthen WA’s transport network for years to come.
