In this role you will develop and deploy NodeJS/Nest applications using Heroku platform, designing and implementing APIs, managing and maintaining database, debugging and testing code. This is a very collaborative role, working closely with other developers and Product teams. What Does An Average Day Look Like? No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role: Design and implement backend solutions aligned with product requirements Collaborate with developers to deliver new features and maintain high-quality code Review code, mentor and coach other team members Manage product releases, provide production support, and triage incidents Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Create clear technical documentation, including release notes and templates Who will thrive in this role? We’re also looking for someone who brings: Strong experience with Node.js (in particular NestJS) and/or .NET Proficient in database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps and Ansible Demonstrated knowledge of AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway and Amazon MQ Skilled in backend architecture, microservices, and API design Able to assess and prioritise change requests, manage incidents, and communicate effectively with stakeholders Experienced in writing clear technical documentation and collaborating on scalable system designs Passionate about continuous learning, mentoring others, and contributing to a high-performing team Salesforce experience would be highly regarded.
