Job Description Procore is looking for a Solutions Engineer , to serve as a technical subject matter expert and champion the Procore platform through the evaluation and partnership process. You’ll partner with our Account Executive teams helping to articulate Procore’s overall value proposition. As a Solutions Engineer , you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to our prospects and clients, evaluating their existing business processes and systems to identify issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and design functional solutions using the Procore platform. Successful candidates have experience owning pre-implementation technical support for prospects and partners from initial contact through product demonstration to close, and have held project management or roles within the construction industry including: Project Manager, Project Engineer, IT Solutions Manager, etc. This role will report into our Manager, Solutions Engineering, and will be based in our Sydney office, Australia. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately. What you’ll do: Own pre-sales technical support of prospects and partners from initial contact through product demonstration and close Evaluate current business processes and systems used by clients to identify inefficiencies, issues, or gaps in functionality to be solved by the Procore platform Engage with clients and internal teams to gather, clarify, and prioritise system requirements in line with business objectives. Design and configure functional solutions using Procore tools and integrations to address identified needs. Craft value-based presentations that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of the Procore platform Prepare clear documentation, including requirements, configuration details, and process maps, for use by delivery teams. Work closely with product teams and implementation teams to verify that delivered solutions meet agreed functional and business requirements and identify areas for growth. Help diagnose and resolve issues during implementation, providing technical guidance to ensure successful solution adoption. Recommend enhancements, extensions, or integrations to improve long-term system performance and business outcomes. Who you are: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 2 years on site construction experience Previous experience working with Procore on site Proven sales engineering experience and/or experience in a sales quota carrying role Proven track record of analysing existing business processes and systems to identify issues, errors and areas for improvement Ability to leverage strong technical aptitude to master Procore’s product offerings, business model, services, and emerging technologies Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on time-sensitive projects Outstanding presentation and communication skills both in-person and through virtual meetings, direct message, email, etc. Experience working with Salesforce, Gong, Procore, Google suite, Lucidcharts and Adobe Acrobat Proven track record working across global time zones
