This is a diverse and impactful role where you’ll apply your technical, design and analytical expertise to help transform our current channels system, while also supporting and enhancing existing platforms. What Does An Average Day Look Like? No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role: Collaborate with the Tech Lead, squad members, and stakeholders, defining the product roadmap and ensuring the team is delivering value Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code. Design robust and scalable software components. Conduct code reviews to ensure standards and best practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and sprint planning. Provide Level 3 support, supporting feature releases and resolving production issues. Maintaining development and application documentation. Developing technical solutions aligned with customer needs. Drive continuous improvement within engineering and delivery. Who will thrive in this role? You’re an experienced developer who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments. You bring deep expertise in Java programming, solid understanding of cloud-native architecture, particularly with AWS and Kubernetes and have experience with front end framework REACT. You enjoy working as part of a high-performing team to design, build, and maintain scalable applications that make a real impact. We’re also looking for someone who brings: Strong proficiency in Java programming languages and related technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Object Oriented Design, Concurrency, JUint, Mockito etc. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Familiarity with front end frameworks like REACT Proficiency in AWS services such as ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, and Lambda Experience implementing CI/CD for software development.
