North Coast LLS is seeking an experienced and passionate biosecurity professional to lead plant biosecurity efforts across the region. This role is central to protecting our agricultural industries and natural environments from plant pests and diseases. Temporary Full Time up to 30 June 2026 Location: Coffs Harbour LLS Grade 6, $113,574 p.a super & leave loading About the Role As the Senior Land Services Officer – Plant Biosecurity, you’ll: Deliver extension and surveillance services to landholders and the community. Lead detection, reporting, and response coordination for priority plant pests. Support emerging industries with biosecurity planning and training. Collaborate with state and regional partners to implement strategic biosecurity initiatives. What we’re looking for: You’ll bring a degree in Agricultural or Environmental Science (or equivalent), strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a proactive approach to biosecurity challenges. A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel are essential.
