About the role As Museum & Gallery Support Officer, you'll support the Museum and Gallery team by assisting in the forward planning, development and delivery of museum and gallery exhibitions, the collection , administration and marketing, and associated public programs and events. Do you have these key attributes? Proven interest in areas such as the arts and/or cultural development. Strong oral, written and digital communication skills, with demonstrated skills in effectively using the online environment as a communication medium. Demonstrated high-level customer service skills. Demonstrated research skills, including the ability to reference resources. Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, budget monitoring and control. High-level digital literacy, with proven competence in Ms Office and advanced online database and internet search skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver in house training and outreach programs. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ability to work the span of hours and days listed under other position requirements. What's on offer? Hourly rate around $43.00 12% Superannuation Permanent Part Time 28 hours per week Generous leave entitlements - long service leave after 5 years Scope for performance-based salary increases. Essentials Qualifications and Experience Certificate IV in a relevant field such as Museum studies, Art, Marketing Current Working with Children Check Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card Current Class C Driver's Licence.
