ServiceNow Platform Architect Location: Sydney | Melbourne | Brisbane | Hybrid / Remote (AUS-based) Work Type: Full-time, Contract VISA: Need to have full work rights for Australia (no sponsorship avaliable) About the Role We're seeking a ServiceNow Platform Architect to lead and shape the design, implementation, and evolution of the ServiceNow platform across a complex enterprise environment. You'll play a strategic role in delivering scalable, future-proof ServiceNow solutions that align with business goals, drive automation, and support digital transformation across ITSM, HR, Security, and more. What You'll Be Doing Lead the technical architecture and design of ServiceNow solutions across multiple business units. Define and enforce platform governance, guardrails, and best practices . Oversee development and integration efforts across modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc.). Collaborate with senior stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to align platform use with business strategy. Support platform upgrades, module deployments , and the adoption of new features (App Engine, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer). Provide guidance and mentorship to internal and vendor developers. Participate in pre-sales and/or tender processes if working with a consultancy or SI. Your Skills & Experience 5-10 years' experience in IT, with 3 years in ServiceNow solution design or architecture . Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules (ITSM essential; others a bonus). Skilled in ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, Service Portal , and integrations (REST/SOAP). Familiar with Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools , and performance tuning. ServiceNow certifications: CSA one or more (CAD, CIS-ITSM, CTA, or relevant). Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience, including with C-level or public sector clients. Nice to Have Exposure to Australian Federal or State Government environments (IRAP, ISM, GovCMS, etc.). Understanding of ITIL, TOGAF, or other architecture frameworks. Experience with multi-instance environments , managed service models, or Centre of Excellence setups. Why Work With Us?
