We are currently seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our growing team. Position Summary As a Civil Engineering Draftsperson, you will support the engineering team in preparing detailed drawings and plans for a wide range of civil engineering works. You will also assist in field and laboratory activities and ensure all designs and documentation meet engineering standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare sketches, plans, charts, tabulations, and designs for civil engineering projects such as: Drainage systems Water supply and sewerage reticulation Roads, bridges, dams, and airports Perform and oversee fieldwork and laboratory testing Interpret work assignment instructions and apply relevant procedures, standards, and equipment Collect and analyse technical data and carry out necessary computations Estimate material quantities and costs ; ensure project deliverables comply with specifications and regulations Inspect civil engineering works and organise/supervise maintenance and repair activities Conduct material and soil tests , and collect data for traffic and site surveys Qualifications & Skills Required Minimum AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field Strong knowledge of civil drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) Familiarity with Australian engineering standards and local regulations Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in both office and field environments What We Offer Competitive salary package Opportunities for professional development Supportive and collaborative team environment Involvement in a diverse range of civil engineering projects How to Apply Please send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience to: Email: pltdevelopments@gmail.com
