About the opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join our Community section on a permanent, full-time basis. We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused candidate to undertake caretaking roles across our various neighbourhood and community centres and hubs. The role requires providing customer service and support to organisations and individuals using community facilities, ensuring that facilities are safe, well maintained and run smoothly. Based at The Mount Druitt Hub, you will provide the complete customer service package, from initial enquiries, bookings, payments, access, inductions, set up of equipment and furniture and bond release. An ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a high standard across the centres by completing facility inspections, waste management and ensuring equipment is organised and safe. Qualifications and experience Essential: Suitable experience in a customer service role Computer literate in basic office applications and the ability to quickly learn corporate applications Ability to work within a team environment and with minimal supervision. Desirable: Current class C driver’s licence Current Senior First Aid Certificate. Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
