About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused candidate to join our Community Facilities team as a Caretaker on a casual basis. You will have excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills, to undertake caretaking roles across our various neighbourhood and community centres and community hubs. This role requires providing exceptional customer service and support to organisations and individuals using community facilities over the phone and in person, ensuring that facilities are well maintained and safe to use. An ideal candidate will look after the initial enquiries and bookings, payments, access, inductions, inspections and bond release. Qualifications and experience Essential: Suitable experience in a customer service role Computer literate in basic office applications and the ability to quickly learn corporate applications Ability to work within a team environment and with minimal supervision. Desirable: Current class C driver’s licence Current Senior First Aid Certificate. Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
