Focusing on our largest national account, plus a diverse portfolio across Carat NSW, this role offers a career-changing opportunity. The role: As the Senior Strategy Director , you are expected to have a high level of competency in communications strategy development, be well versed in media connections planning, and have a strong grasp of the media planning and buying landscape. Core responsibilities: Drive the core functions of the strategic discipline for media responses: objective & challenge identification, target audience profiling & recommendation development, consumer journey mapping. Identify insights & strategic territories, design comms architecture, develop media platforms & principles, select & orchestrate media channels, and develop measurement frameworks. Develop, manage, and grow a team of media strategists. Play an active role in identifying local ‘big bet briefs’ that present opportunities to deploy our strategic process or create award-worthy work. Guide creative media solutions to produce award-winning work. A bit about you: Strong understanding of media industry capabilities and proprietary tools, able to guide junior team members on outcomes support. Experience with Roy Morgan, AQX, Neilson, and other audience tools; oversight into MMM and understanding of value. Demonstrated understanding of marketing science. Ability to collaborate across end-to-end responses to briefs, ensuring strategic direction is reflected in campaign outcomes. Proven ability to foster positive, productive working relationships with agency peers and clients. Proactive in identifying and managing senior stakeholder engagement, especially for new introductions, tier 1 briefings, and responses.
