Overview: Our client is a leading Australian property investment company, specialising in the ownership and management of high-quality shopping centres nationwide. Their focus is to create outstanding retail destinations for tenants while delivering strong results for investors. They are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Financial Administrator to join their team in a combined Office Administration and Accounts role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can manage competing priorities, and has proven skills in Excel, Xero, and Yardi. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the head office while managing accurate and timely financial transactions across the property portfolio. Key Responsibilities Process invoices, credit notes, and expense claims in Xero and Yardi. Prepare and manage fortnightly payment runs. Issue tenant invoices, track rental payments, and manage arrears. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies. Support daily bank reconciliations and monthly reporting. Liaise with tenants, suppliers, and contractors regarding account queries. Provide reception support, including calls and visitor management. Oversee office supplies, stationery, and kitchen needs. Assist with scheduling meetings, travel bookings, and events. Maintain financial and administrative filing systems. Provide general administrative support to the leadership team. Criteria: Previous experience in a similar administration and accounts role. Strong skills in Excel, Xero, and Yardi (required). Sound knowledge of AP/AR processes and accounting fundamentals. Excellent attention to detail with accurate data entry and record-keeping. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines. Confident communicator with solid written and verbal skills. Proactive, adaptable, and a team player. Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
