Permanent Full Time IT Managed Service Provider Western Sydney Office Location Overview A well established and highly regarded IT Managed Service Provider based in Western Sydney is on the lookout for an Account Manager to join their sales team. You are to be responsible for managing a portfolio of key clients, ensuring their technology strategies align with business objectives, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. You will be working in close collaboration with technical specialists, oversee projects from initiation through to successful delivery, fostering strong, long-term relationships and consistently delivering measurable value. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across assigned client accounts. Proactively manage and develop accounts, responding promptly to client enquiries, issues, or requests. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to design and implement strategies for account growth. Recommend upgrades, enhancements, and innovations to optimise client IT systems. Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned to each client’s business objectives. Conduct regular business and technical review meetings, ensuring agreed actions are delivered on time. Oversee the client journey from initial engagement through to ongoing service delivery. Identify and convert new business opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets. Key Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT sales, account management, or technical client services. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and managed service offerings. Demonstrated success in managing and growing long-term client relationships. Strong customer focus with a track record of delivering outstanding service. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Commercially astute with the ability to translate technical concepts into tangible business outcomes. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences. Proactive problem-solving abilities with a commitment to timely resolution of client issues. Current driver’s license and own vehicle.
