As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of building projects of limited scope and complexity, working under the close guidance of senior engineers. In this role, you will: Work on simple projects or sections of projects; working towards assuming responsibility for sections of projects Use standard engineering techniques for the purpose of solving problems Assist senior engineers with analysis of information, production of designs and calculations Prepare calculations and analysis of building structures Assist with preparation of specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation under close supervision Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects and services engineers on design issues under supervision of a senior engineer Who are we looking for? Additionally. Bachelor’s degree in engineering Graduate membership with Engineers Australia Understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards 0-3 years of structural engineering experience Ability to apply theoretical knowledge of engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation.
