The responsibilities of the role include: Manage and oversee the administrative functions of the office, ensuring efficient and effective workflow Lead, coach and develop the allocations team, providing guidance and support to ensure continued high performance Oversee allocation of staff, workspace and resources to optimise efficiency and service delivery Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate office activities and resolve any issues Implement and maintain efficient office systems and procedures to drive continuous improvement Oversee office records, files and accounts to ensure accurate documentation and compliance Supervise procurement and upkeep of office supplies and equipment to support daily operations Monitor workplace practices to ensure a safe environment in line with occupational health and safety standards Support HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, staff development, payroll coordination and performance reviews Monitor and report on office KPIs, identifying areas for improvement Contribute to the overall success of the business by supporting strategic initiatives and spearheading the NSW allocations team Ensure work practices comply with relevant legislation, government policies and procedures To be successful for this position, you must possess the following: Essential: Proven experience in office management or administration within a service-based organisation Strong leadership and staff management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage records, accounts, and compliance documentation Demonstrated understanding of government policies and regulatory requirements Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office and administrative systems Current Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Highly Desirable: Experience in the disability, health, or community services sector Knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements and NDIS Practice Standards Understanding of NDIS processes for claims, service bookings, and participant management.
