Job Title Mine Surveyor Underground Job Roster 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth to Leonora or DIDO Job Summary Responsible for maintaining an accurate plan of the mine as a whole and will update maps of the surface layout to account for new structures Job Statement We are now seeking an Underground Mine Surveyor to join our professional Mining team at our new underground Ulysses mine near Leonora, WA. Reporting to the Alt Underground Manager, this is a permanent FIFO role on a balanced 8 days on, 6 days off roster cycle, flying on company time to and from Perth. You also have the option to Drive-In Drive-Out from Kalgoorlie. Our Underground Surveyor is an important member of our Mining team and the successful candidate will maintain survey control over the development and stoping activities of the Ulysses mine. The Opportunity: Conduct survey pickups of underground workings, surface stockpiles, and drone scans of stopes using the Elios 3; Complete survey markups for production drills, raisebores, and jumbo development; Maintaining the upkeep of survey equipment and survey processes for reporting, logging, and archiving of survey data; Installing survey control stations to industry best practice methods, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements; Producing survey plans for mining and safety activities; and Completing end of month reports. Have strong computer skills with competency in the programs Deswik CAD; Familiarity in surface/underground drone use; Familiarity with the use of Leica TS15, MS60 Total Stations; Familiarity with the use of Leica GPS GS16;
