Skate Australia is led by a skills-based board of elected and appointed directors. The Board’s role encompasses the governance of the organisation and to provide strategic leadership. There are two (2) elected positions which will become vacant at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 15th October 2025 with each position for a term of three (3) years There is one (1) elected position which will become vacant at the AGM for a term of two (2) years There are two (2) appointed positions which will be available at the AGM for a term of three (3) years In accordance with the Skate Australia Constitution, the Board may consist of 9 members comprising - 6 elected Directors, and up to 3 appointed Directors. In line with gender equity commitments, no single gender should consist of more than 60%. With the support of the Skate Australia Nominations Committee (NomCo) and in accordance with the Skate Australia Constitution, the elected positions will be voted on by voting members at the AGM.
