The Opportunity This newly created role has been established to support the ongoing growth of Village Building. It’s designed to strengthen their financial modelling and analysis capabilities, playing a key role in driving informed, strategic decision-making across the organisation. This position is well suited to someone looking to transition from a Big4 consulting background, whether from audit, financial advisory, or a similar discipline, into a commercially focused environment. While experience in a commercial finance role is advantageous, the team welcomes candidates making a considered move into this space. The Role Developing and managing budgets, creating financial forecasts, and analysing variances between planned and actual results Building and maintaining complex financial models on projects to analyse different scenarios and assess the potential impact of business decisions Analysing past financial data, identifying trends, and evaluating the company's overall financial health Providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making for projects Preparing regular financial reports for management, stakeholders, and potentially external parties Working closely with project teams (e.g., development, finance, sales) to gather data and ensure alignment on financial goals Creating and analysing various financial scenarios to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities The Ideal Person You are likely working in one of the major firms, but you're ready to step into a commercial role where you can see long-term career growth.
