Who we are The Finance and Investment Division supports the department to be efficient, effective and financially sustainable. The division provides strategic financial advice and support to the department, the offices of the minister and to industry stakeholders. The division delivers on business objectives by partnering with the department, providing high quality customer service, advice and support and a nationally consistent approach to business, with consideration to the government's fiscal environment, its significant reform agenda and the department's imperative to maintain financial sustainability. The Financial Operations Branch provides shared services for the department including corporate services such as travel, credit cards, procurement, grants policy, advice and reporting, payroll services, procurement, accounts receivable, debt management and accounts payable. The branch also provides a project management and oversight role for some of the critical projects for the division. The Systems Support and Accounting Section is responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of several financial systems, including TechnologyOne (FMIS) and the Activity Based Costing (ABC) System. A key focus of the team is fostering strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and delivering compliant, efficient solutions that support the department's financial responsibilities and enhance business processes. The key duties of the position include The Job Support FMIS Helpdesk Services by; providing day-to-day FMIS helpdesk support, managing user access and maintaining user profiles and security settings, overseeing user workplace configurations, assisting with end-of-month and end-of-financial-year system rollovers, supporting system administration processes, conducting user acceptance and testing as required, collaborating with subject matter experts from the department's revenue and operating systems to develop and implement system integrations, including troubleshooting and issue resolution, assisting in the coordination and delivery of FMIS user training contributing to the delivery of FMIS-related project tasks as assigned.
