Reporting to the Commercial Manager – Operations , this role is central to delivering financial insights that drive operational efficiency, cost control, and profitability across our Packaging and Medical manufacturing divisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and insightful financial reports for Australian Operations Perform detailed manufacturing cost accounting, including variance analysis and reporting Drive budgeting and cost roll processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals Mentor and support a Junior Management Accountant, fostering growth and capability Ensure tight cost control and compliance with company policies and authority levels Collaborate with production teams to interpret factory performance and identify improvement opportunities Support engineering project reporting and intercompany invoicing Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to CIP reporting Educate frontline managers on financial drivers and cost management strategies What You’ll Bring: Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent commercial experience in manufacturing Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset A high level of personal integrity and accountability Previous experience in manufacturing or cost accounting is highly desirable Why Join Us?
