The Business Intelligence and Analytics team is responsible for the end-to-end process of acquiring new data, integrating it into an Azure Cloud hosted Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environment, and delivering insightful information to the business to assist them make informed decisions. The team is responsible for all source system analysis, data modelling, data integration, BI report development and deployment to the business. This role is a full-time permanent role, reporting into our Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence Manager in our National Office on the Gold Coast. Working in a hybrid model may be considered for the right candidate. Our National Office is the HUB for supporting our 17 aged care facilities across Australia and our team play an integral part within our organisation. The role The Data Engineers’ role at Infin8Care is primarily focused on all activities associated with Data Integration from source systems, transforming it into business ready information for deployment to the Business Intelligence environment. They will work in a collaborative partnership with the business and other members of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, to achieve the business information needs that will aid and improve quality decision making and deliver data requirements for Government Departments and Agencies. To be considered for this role, you will: Have experience with Source System Analysis with a view to extracting data, Be well versed in Data Modelling techniques (Data Vault, Star Schema), Be highly proficient in Data Integration Activities, predominantly using Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database. Communicate and collaborate with business representatives to understand information needs. Design and build data solutions with all data transformations as close to the source as possible, with a view to minimise down-stream processing. Investigate and attend to failures and outages in the Data Warehouse and BI environment A full list of duties & responsibilities can be seen on the attached position description. About You You are inquisitive thinker who can deliver creative and efficient solutions, have excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and you can work both collaboratively and be self-directed when required. You will also have: A relevant tertiary qualification in business or technology with a focus on Data and Analytics. 5 years of experience using Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence platforms, software applications, and processes.
