Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough building inspections to identify damage causes, whether from design faults, defective construction, or maintenance issues. Provide analysis on causation and remediation strategies. Prepare building inspection reports. Develop detailed remedial Scopes of Work. Monitor and report on repair works in line with approved Scopes of Work. Build and maintain strong client relationships through timely and professional communication. Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a culture of growth and expertise. Balance multiple assignments and deliver on client and financial outcomes. Skills and Attributes: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the building and construction industry, particularly in residential high-rise and low-rise projects. Expertise in defect analysis and water intrusion investigations. Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and industry best practices. Experience in remedial consultancy highly desirable. A degree or equivalent qualification in Building, Construction, or Engineering. Demonstrated leadership and team development skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity. Strong time management, resilience, and a proactive approach to challenges.
