Riverview is fortunate in being supported by many volunteers who are recruited from the school community. These volunteers provide invaluable support for Riverview by giving generously their free time. We believe volunteers can make a significant contribution to the College community by giving their time and sharing their skills and expertise. St Ignatius' College Riverview recognise the important role played by volunteers in supporting the school's educational programs either through direct contact with the teachers and students or through behind the scenes support for school activities. Whilst the wellbeing of our students is our top priority, we want to ensure that your involvement with Riverview is a rewarding experience. Volunteers often have a broad range of interests and abilities that complement school programs and so provide a wider range of interactions and experiences for students. Without volunteers Riverview could not achieve what we do. Our volunteers receive ongoing training and support to ensure their experience is a rewarding one. A volunteer is any person who provides an unpaid service to the College. To become a volunteer, you will need a current working with children check (18). This is free for all volunteers and can be obtained from the Office of the Children's Guardian at https://ocg.nsw.gov.au/working-children-check Please ensure you have this WWCC Number prior to registering your interest online with the College.
