Windlab is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. About the Opportunity This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations, month-end and year-end processes, tax reporting, and a variety of other accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities Participate in monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, company credit cards, and other ledger accounts Assist in managing accounts payable, including invoice processing, purchase order compliance, invoice approvals, and preparing batch payments Support the accounts’ receivable function, including customer billing and debtor follow-up Review and process staff expense claims Contribute to the month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis Assist with year-end financial reporting and audits, including journal processing, documentation collation, and audit workbook preparation Support indirect tax compliance, including GST and FBT returns Administer various finance systems Provide support on ad hoc reporting, business returns, and other accounting tasks as required About You You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field, with a strong desire to pursue CA or CPA qualifications. As a Financial Accountant you will bring demonstrated experience in preparing, analysing, and evaluating financial information, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Key skills include a high level of attention to detail, integrity, and ethical conduct, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You will be confident in managing competing priorities, while maintaining excellent communication skills. You will work both independently and collaboratively, uphold confidentiality, and demonstrate a proactive approach to your work.
