Location: Lower North Shore, Sydney Industry: Construction Salary: Up to $120k Super Hays is partnering with an established construction company with $300 million in annual revenue, who are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their finance team. This is a full-time, 5-day in-office role-ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where decisions happen quickly, and your input is valued on the spot. You'll report directly to the Group Accountant and be part of a close-knit team of five managing financial operations across 18 entities. Responsibilities: Daily Bank reconciliations Oversee Accounts Payables Process credit applications for new suppliers Set up new employee software and hardware Liaise with external IT support Set up new projects in CHEOPS Manage workers' compensation claims Weekly Prepare weekly cash and securities report Execute manual payments including petty cash and COD Run weekly payroll for site staff Monthly Prepare monthly BAS across five entities Issue rental invoices and apply lease rate adjustments Prepare monthly cash flow statements Compile cost reports and salary dissections for projects Reconcile credit card, toll, mobile, and fuel accounts Reconcile clearing and intercompany loan accounts Quarterly Develop budget reports Produce quarterly P&L and Balance Sheets across 15 entities Prepare quarterly BAS for 10 entities Year End Review and prepare year-end P&L and Balance Sheets across all entities Candidate Profile CPA/CA Qualification (or working towards) Previous experience in construction or infrastructure preferred Familiarity with CHEOPS is advantageous Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills Team-oriented with a proactive approach This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action and working closely with colleagues day-to-day.
