The EIS will provide exert advice to both the employer and injured workers on how to access services and treatment with the aim of support ing improv ed health and recovery goals and facilitating an early, safe and sustainable return to work. In this role, you will provide guidance and assistance to employers with the aim of facilitating an early , safe and sustainable return to work for injured workers, and helping to set up a claim to get a head start before it reaches the claims management team. Being a customer facing role, y ou will be on the front line providing excellent customer service by phone or virtual meeting to a variety of stakeholders. From time to time , you may need to travel to employer work site s and participate in site claims reviews. How you'll make an impact Your responsibilities will include: I dentifying claims that may benefit from early RTW assistance . Contacting employer s to determine the level of engagement with the worker about RTW, potential barriers, and consider what assistance is required . Educating employers around how to meet their RTW obligations and may also engage further services depending on the need of a specific claim. Referring claims to Occupational Rehabilitation Providers, our Mobile Case Management team for treat ing health provider Case Conferen cing Ensuring others in the business involved in the Early Intervention (EI) program have the required resources and training to undertake their roles Being readily available and accessible to GB staff involved in the EI program to provide guidance and to troubleshoot issues as they arise Contacting injured workers to determine their treatment needs and appropriate inter ventions to help support their recovery and return to work goals Engaging with treatres to discuss treatment modality, diagnosis and treatment goals Communicating with stakeholders at varying levels through both large employer/ government organisations and the medical industry Understanding auditing and WorkSafe requirements to achieve APA measures . About you What are we looking for?
