Hands-on Senior Network Engineer needed, to lead the design, testing, and deployment of a new network infrastructure as part of a major company transformation. This role will focus on delivering Proof of Concepts (PoCs), migrating network environments, and integrating physical services such as CCTV into a Cisco Meraki-based architecture. You will work closely with infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless separation and continuity of network services for the newly formed entity. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy network solutions using Cisco Meraki (firewalls, switches, wireless, SD-WAN). Build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate network configurations, integrations, and new service models. Lead the network migration strategy and execution for the demerger, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Configure and integrate physical services including CCTV, door access systems, and VoIP as part of the network design. Audit existing infrastructure and develop a migration blueprint from shared to independent environments. Liaise with vendors, facilities teams, and system integrators to coordinate hardware installs and configurations. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues post-migration. Ensure all network documentation is updated, including topology diagrams, configuration backups, and asset registers. Adhere to best practices for network security, segmentation, and compliance requirements. Experience: Proven experience as a Network Engineer, ideally in environments undergoing separation, demergers, or large-scale transformation. Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Meraki (MX, MR, MS series). Experience with network migrations, PoC creation, and multi-site deployments. Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless technologies. Familiarity with CCTV systems, IP cameras, and integration into enterprise networks. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple project streams simultaneously. Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, Meraki CMNA) are a plus. Experience with physical security systems such as access control, alarm panels, or building management integration. Knowledge of hybrid networks involving cloud services (Azure/AWS) or SD-WAN
